Bridge to....?

I recently received an order for a simple yet elegant card just to brighten someone's day. This beautiful fancy/fun fold card does not disappoint.

There is definitely more to this card than expected at first glance.

By lifting the greeting you expect to see the inside. A decorative middle flap is the will hide your message and/or signature.
While creating this elegant card I wanted to show that the layout can be used for almost anything.
We (myself included) have a tendency to internally say "I need that paper" or "I need that stamp set".
What better way to break free of these ideals than by showcasing different papers, stamps, etc.

This last example has more of a "masculine" theme and the orientation was changed from landscape to portrait. These beautiful, elegant, handmade card can be purchased for $4 each.  Order on the Cardsters Craftbox facebook page here.

A combination of Close to My Heart and Stampinup! products have been used.

Vanity Fair

This amazingly beautiful bench/bridge fold card is the card of the week. I watched several YouTube videos in order to get the measurements just right. I don’t know the original designer is but thank you! I used Cricut design space to cut all of the pieces.

 And yes, it will fit in a standard size A2 envelope(4 1/4x 5 1/2)
I’m having so much fun making other versions of this bench/bridge fold card. I wish I had thought of this particular card a few weeks ago- I can see it being the cutest tool bench. There are just so many possibilities. Do you remember the cut little chicken stamps and die sets? I have an idea for a chicken coop. I will post any updates so everyone can see just how fabulous this card can be. Be sure to check out my facebook page here for all the other amazing cards and for any purchases you wish to make. Happy Creating!

Pop out...What?!

I had so much fun in the craftbox this week. I worked on several designs so technically its "cards" of the week.

The photos just do not show the "wow" factor .  Each card contains a deep purple patterned paper with a hint of dark green that really adds depth.  The butterflies and ribbon really finish the card off but if that wasn't enough...(Drum roll)

Ta da....A butterfly pops out of the inside.  Oh my cuteness. The pop out were made using the Close to my Heart Artfully Sent cricut cartridge.  The cartridge is retired now but it is one of my favorites.  I stamped each hydrangea with Stampin' Up Hydrangea Haven and used the coordinating die set. Each card was intentionally left blank leaving you room to write whatever sentiment is needed.  Each card comes with a handstamped envelope. Card bundles that include this beautiful card can be purchased HERE.  Card prices and all other information can be found on my facebook page(click the blue Here). Please order through the facebook link to ensure a timely response.

Welcome to Cardsters Craftbox

Between this blog and the Cardsters Craftbox facebook page (click here) you should be able to find what's going on here in the Craftbox.  I'm not very technology savvy so instagram is a work in progress. I'm trying to figure out why the blog page looks different when viewing it on your phone.  It took a long time to find this cute template-ugh! Well just remember that I'm trying to work on things and that having a disability makes things take even longer.

Hey, Chick

I was able to spend the day playing around with my new chicken stamp sets.
Coloring is very difficult with a disability, but a little perseverance and I managed to get the job done. These beautiful chickens will cluck their way to a new set of cards that will be available for purchase in a few days- woot woot (or should I say- cluck, cluck)
